Palestine Academy is a community football club based in Small Heath, Birmingham, created to support young people from deprived areas while providing a safe space to express solidarity with Palestine.


The academy uses football to build confidence, discipline and teamwork, while helping steer young people away from drugs, gangs and anti-social behaviour. It also offers aspiring players the opportunity to develop their skills and pursue further pathways within the sport.


Created around the launch of the academy’s Palestinian-themed kits, this series explores football as a space for community, identity and resistance. It reflects how sport can bring young people together, create a sense of belonging and carry a wider message of Palestinian pride and solidarity.
